Why a Blog?

Our program already has a website, we had a YouTube Channel, and a Facebook page…so why create a blog too?

Good question. First, our YouTube presence is going to be deleted, as most of our military partners can’t access the videos anyway. Our website, though awesome for most stuff (like forms, files, record books) and things that don’t change very often, we felt like we needed a more interactive way to get bits of training to the after school program staff.  We want you to ask questions and make comments. And to share videos and photos you see here with other leaders to help them too.

We can only visit our sites in Japan & Korea about every-other year…that’s not very often. But we want face time anyway, and maybe this way we can get it.

And because you folks are BUSY.  Maybe you don’t have time to sift through a whole website to find something or hours to do all the training modules (though we still recommend you do at least SOME of them if you have never been to 4-H training.)  You might just find the inspiration you need right here, in less than 5 minutes. 🙂
